Kandi Ayakawa, ROCC has been a Radiation Oncology Certified Coder (ROCC) for over 9 years. She joined the Pacific Cancer Institute in February 2007, and worked for Kaiser five years prior to joining us. Kandi keeps up with all the changing regulations regarding reimbursement for cancer treatment, attending specialized conferences to maintain her certification. At the Pacific Cancer Institute, we don’t want you to be worried about how to pay for your cancer treatment. We would rather help you focus on getting well.  We accept most medical insurance plans and Kandi works hard to get authorizations in a timely manner so you can receive your treatment as quickly and worry-free as possible. Kandi is focused on helping you get all of your insurance benefits without any problems and helping you with every financial aspect we can, including answering any questions you may have regarding billing.
