Deborah A. Markiewicz, M.D. is a board certified radiation oncologist.  She graduated from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois in 1986 and completed her residency training and fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Markiewicz’s areas of special interest are breast cancer and head and neck cancers.  She was a former Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Pennsylvania and was named a “Top Doctor” in Oncology by Main Line Today magazine in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014.

Her philosophy of care is that she strives to develop a compassionate, honest, and informative relationship with her patients to provide a clear understanding of their malignancy and their treatment options and to provide safe, state-of-the-art comprehensive treatment.
