Prostate Cancer: Only 5 Treatments vs. 40
We know how important it is to get you back to work. Our treatments typically take 15-20 minutes with no recovery time required.

Why CyberKnife?
The CyberKnife robotic radiosurgery system is a widely used form of nonsurgical prostate stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT). The American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) believes that enough clinical evidence exists so that SBRT should be considered an appropriate alternative for select patients with low- to intermediate-risk prostate cancer.
CyberKnife is an advanced technology that delivers a specialized form of radiation therapy called stereotactic radiosurgery, or stereotactic body radiation therapy. It is comprised of a compact linear accelerator, a machine that generates a radiation beam, attached to a highly maneuverable robotic arm.
CyberKnife features a device that controls the width of the radiation beams the machine delivers during treatment, allowing our clinical experts to vary the beam size and treat a larger variety of tumors throughout the body.
During CyberKnife procedures, patients will lie on a treatment table while the machine’s robotic arm moves around their body delivering high doses of radiation directly to their tumor with pinpoint precision. The cumulative dose of radiation delivered by the CyberKnife kills tumor cells while minimizing exposure to surrounding healthy tissue.
Most treatment sessions typically last 30 – 90 minutes depending on the size, shape and location of your tumor.
Other Cancers Treated:
Why TrueBeam?
The TrueBeam STx system is a widely used form of nonsurgical prostate stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT). The American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) believes that enough clinical evidence exists so that SBRT should be considered an appropriate alternative for select patients with low- to intermediate-risk prostate cancer. TrueBeam STx uses continual image guidance technology and computer-controlled robotic mobility. The TrueBeam STx system automatically tracks, detects and corrects for tumor and patient movement in real time throughout the treatment. This enables the TrueBeam STx to deliver high-dose radiation with pinpoint precision to the prostate and to minimize radiation exposure to surrounding healthy tissues.
The TrueBeam is an advanced technology that delivers a specialized form of radiation therapy called stereotactic radiosurgery, or stereotactic body radiation therapy. Capable of “shaping” the radiation beams delivered during treatment, TrueBeam allows our clinical experts to vary the beam size and treat a larger variety of tumors throughout the body.
During TrueBeam procedures, patients lie on a treatment table while the machine rotates around them, delivering high doses of radiation aimed directly at their tumor and sculpted to match the 3D shape of the tumor. The cumulative dose of radiation delivered by the TrueBeam kills tumor cells while minimizing exposure to surrounding healthy tissue.
Most treatment sessions typically last 15 – 20 minutes depending on the size, shape and location of the tumor. These sessions last about one-third of the time that previous machines took to deliver the same dose of radiation, offering improved patient comfort and improved safety.
